Cross the bridge to Scoutiness........Friday 20th March

It is time for the Newby Scouts to officially join the Troop by building a bridge across a stinking, bug infested piece of water, crossing it then eating burgers.  They will then be invested.  All very symbolic!

Of course, all the other Scouts will assist with their amazing pioneering and eating skills.

Scout shirts and neckers please but you might want to wear some old trousers (and bring a bin liner to sit on in the car on the way home).  Apologies to parents as we often over-run with this activity though we will try our hardest..........
